Do I need oiling as well as cleaning?
Cleaning restores the look; oiling protects it and keeps it looking good for longer. On timber decking and balconies we usually recommend both.
How long does the treatment last?
It depends on the timber, the product and how exposed it is — typically a year or two. We'll advise on simple upkeep.
Can you treat a freshly cleaned deck?
Yes — timber needs to be clean and dry first, so we clean it, let it dry, then apply the oil or treatment.
